This is what a working day on a Rotary delivery route looks like, from reporting to the station in the morning to handing back the keys at the end.

Your day starts at the driver reporting station: DCF2, Longship Road, Cardiff CF10 4RP. View the station on Google Maps. You arrive at your allocated start time — there is free on-site parking.
Before anything is loaded, you complete your vehicle checks. Safe driving standards are part of every day, and the checks make sure the van is ready before you leave.
You load your allocated parcels in the loading area. Routes are planned and sequenced before you load, so the parcels go in around the order you will deliver them.
The delivery application holds your planned route, with in-van navigation support. You follow the sequence rather than searching for your next stop yourself.
You deliver to homes and businesses across the Cardiff area, following the delivery procedures at every stop and communicating professionally with customers at the door.
A route is usually around 150 to 180 stops, sometimes more depending on the area, parcel volume and time of year. Expect a lot of walking, regular lifting and getting in and out of the van throughout the day.
You work independently on the road, but you are not on your own. Management and Lead Drivers are available while you are out, and you stay in contact with the support team if anything changes on your route.
Once your deliveries are complete, you return to the station, complete the vehicle check and hand back the keys. Finishing times depend on the route, the parcel volume and the time of year, so no fixed finishing time is promised.
The drivers who do well are organised, reliable and safe behind the wheel. This is active, independent work: you manage yourself on the road, keep to the route and treat customers properly. Reliability and punctuality matter more than delivery experience.
